Hoʻiʻo is the native edible fiddlehead fern of our Big Island wet forests. The coiled frond, sage to deep green, has been gathered along Hāmākua streams for as long as anyone remembers. In our tradition it carries the symbolism of rebirth and growth.
A quietly local print. Hoʻiʻo says "I live here" without saying anything at all.
