For an island date night, a fitted aloha midi, a wrap dress, or a slip dress under a light layer all work. Evenings cool quickly in Hilo and upcountry, so bring a wrap. Prints in deeper tones read more evening than daytime florals. Keep footwear walkable; most island nights involve a stroll. A small crossbody keeps your hands free for shave ice or a drink.
